Migrate Fresh Reader to the other server
If you want to migrate Fresh Reader to the other server, read the following instructions.
Same OS
if you want to migrate it to a same OS based server, just copy Fresh Reader installation folder/directory to the new server.
Different OS
- Make sure where db directory is. See The Folder/Directory Tree of the Fresh Reader ,
- Install Fresh Reader on the new server,
- Copy the original db directory to the db directory of the Fresh Reader on the new server.
Make sure the following points if you have some troubles,
- (Windows) db folder should be writable,
- (Other OS) db directory's owner/permissions,
Do I need to re-register my license?
No. you don't need to re-register it.
